Flinders University taps KWPX as new creative agency

Flinders University appointed KWPX as its creative agency partner following a competitive pitch process.

Flinders University Chief Marketing Officer, Bev Bury, said: "We're incredibly excited about this new chapter and supercharging our brand. We think there is a huge opportunity to bring fresh and innovative thinking to how we market higher education and can’t wait to explore this with kwpx as our creative partners.”

Managing Director at KWPX, Sam Davies, said: “We’re proud to have been chosen as Flinders University’s creative partner at such a pivotal time in the university’s history.

“Flinders University embodies the spirit of a challenger brand, and in all our conversations to date they’ve shown us they are serious about the work and the role creativity will play in growing their brand."

Head of Advertising at KWPX, Sam Talbot, said Flinders University would become a cornerstone partner for the agency. The agency is said to have demonstrated understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the sector, and their passion for the University's mission.

The partnership comes at a time when the higher education sector in South Australia, and indeed globally, is facing significant challenges. Universities are increasingly looking for innovative ways to attract students and differentiate themselves in a crowded market. The selection of KWPX by Flinders University suggests a commitment to a fresh and innovative approach to marketing within the sector.

“But the real work starts now, and we share the ambition to create breakthrough work that shifts how students view the higher education sector and Flinders University," said Talbot.
